• Name: Frame-Type Spinal Hyperextension Orthosis

• Indications: T10-12 compression fracture, senile kyphosis
• Instructions:
- An Orthosis must be customized by an orthotic technician.
- Make sure all the agrafes are on the exterior of the brace
- Choose and adjust the brace according to clinical indications
- Measure the patient and choose the brace according to parameters.
- Adjust the width and hight of the brace until perfectly fitting the patient.
- Put the brace on the patient in the order outside-in
- Fix the anterior frame on the patient¡¯s sternum, the middle frame on the pubic
symphysis and the posterior frame on the waist.
- Adjust the brace then fix the Velcro.

- Keep clean the supporting frames
- Keep dry the metallic part of the brace in case of rust and corrosion.
- Plastic materials can be cleaned with wet cloths and soft detergent. Avoid using acidic
and/or corrosive detergent. Abort the process if the patient feels any pain.
- Metallic materials are heat conducting. Keep away from sunlight and heat.
