• Materials: EMPP polyester, elastic fibers, sponge, stainless steel (adjustable spark
brace), nylon
• Indications: cervical spondylosis, upper thoracic vertebrae fracture, cervical dislocation,
pre and postoperative management
• Instructions:
- Set proper patient¡¯s cervical spine.
- Loosen the nuts on the anterior part of the brace, adjust the supporting bar by moving
up and down until fitted, then match the slots on the
bar with corresponding convexes  found on the anchor board. Tighten
the nuts gently.
- Fix the posterior part of the brace on patient¡¯s scruff. Adjust until perfectly fitted to
patient¡¯s occipital bone and shoulders.
- Fix the anterior part of the brace on patient¡¯s lower jaw and shoulders. Adjust until
perfectly fitted, then tighten the Velcro.

- Keep clean the supporting frames
- Keep dry the metallic part of the brace in case of rust and corrosion.
- Plastic materials can be cleaned with wet cloths and soft detergent. Avoid using acidic
and/or corrosive detergent. Abort the process if the patient feels any pain.
- Avoid external pressure.

- Avoid applying without professional orthotic instructions.
- Inapplicable for persons with any kind of mental disorder and/ or other inapplicability
